The importance of being published is so that the audience or people you intend to read your stuff to hear your stories. Mostly so the person who is being published to be heard and to let other people know what you believe or tell people where you came from. The reason people want to be publish is to that they can have a voice in their community and maybe intentionally to get other people to believe or understand where you stand and what you want to prove to others. Authors want others to understand each other and they make their stuff published so that others can hear what they believe and want to make a point. The importance of this is so that the audience can understand topics that they are not well aware of. The author wants to make they audience be self aware of things that they will normally wont but much time in thinking about.
